Lauren Cochran is a transportation industry leader with nearly two decades of experience driving sales growth, strategic partnerships, and operational innovation across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Lauren specializes in go-to-market strategy, business development, proposal strategy, and introducing emerging technologies in transit. She has built strong relationships with transit agencies and industry partners across North America, helping organizations translate complex challenges into actionable strategies that drive measurable results.
Prior to joining TransPro, Lauren spent the last decade as Head of Sales and Business Development for Stadler North America and Vice President of Sales at Proterra.
Earlier in her career, Lauren held leadership roles at Houston METRO, the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, and Foothill Transit, where she worked on innovation initiatives ranging from electric bus deployment to mobility technology pilots.
Lauren holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has been recognized as a Mass Transit Top 40 Under 40 honoree and a Metro Magazine Women in Transportation honoree. Lauren is very active in the breast cancer community and she and her husband live in Greenville, SC with their three doodles.
